For 2012 the German kiteboard brand TWO.AG supports me with two boards. They arrived just in time for a first summer-feeling session today together with Eike:
This years kitebuggy race season started during the easter holidays in st. peter ording. As the weather turned out to be just perfect with sunshine and wind for kites from 5.5 to 12 squaremeters we were able to drive five races.
For the first three races my weapon of choice was the Yakuza GT 5 and 6.8. One first and two second places showed that we have still one of the top racekites available.
The last two races I tried some new prototypes we are actually working on. Just for now all I can say is that already this first prototype in 12sqm was fast enough to help me up ending on a second place again. For the last race it looked like the wind will get up so I decided to test a new proto in 9.5sqm, unfortunately the wind doesn’t change and I had not enough power. That’s why I decided to test some different trim options during the race and were only able to become 12th. Never the less I could wipe out that last race and was able to win the first tourstop in 2012.

Well, after spending three days with Susi and Lotti in Innbruck i had to drive back home. Luckily we decided to make a stop in Kaltenbach! That was by far the best day this season as it was snowing the whole night and the sun came out as soon as we arrived at the parking lot! By the way, if you see a “Billa” store close to you, go there and go for a small meal
the snow up here on the slopes of stubai glacier was really nice but there was more or less now deep snow for freerides or some hikes… too bad but never the less a good day!
for the last two days the weather turned out to be really bad. there was more or less no view but we also had some nice moments with a lot of fun
Jasper and I decided to drive to Serfaus cause the weather forecast was quite ok. In the end there was a lot of fresh pow falling in the morning and later the sky cleared up… what a lucky day!
Again there was no wind up here on the berninapass. Luckily the sun was shining and we had enough time to walk up to the other bernina and further on close to the top of lagalb:
Jasper and myself went so Samnaun to meet Robert, Lex and Thomas there for a nice sky day. In the end our decission was just perfect as Samnaun had perfect weather conditions and some deep snow as well! Thanks for the great day guys!
Today Jasper arrived in St. Moritz and due to the reason that we actually don’t have that much snow we decided to go for some skiing in the ski resort Corviglia close to St. Moritz. Unfortunately they had to use quite a lot mashine snow….
