hey guys,
during the last days i met Patrick & Ronny from kitetracker.com. they gave me the opportunity to test the brand new version of their ios app for tracking your sessions, even lifetracking is possible!

for those of you who ever wanted to see where you have been while kiting or doing any kind of outdoor sports, i fairly recommend this app! track your session and share it with pictures and comments!

st. peter ording again

9. Oktober 2012

hi everyone,
last sunday we had the 2nd race for 2013′s german kitebuggy season. with strong and gusty winds around 25 knots it was a perfect day to show what we are working on: a super stable and super fast race kite! in the first race my start around place number 10 wasn’t that good, but never the less i managed to climb from place to place until i was in the lead! from now on i used the brand new 4m proto in all races where it dominated all the time. being super stable and incredible fast in all maneuvers this really smooth shaped kite helped me to win all 4 out of 4 races!

thanks to rob for this great shape and thanks to hossi for the pictures!

cheers

wind is on

Fanö

5. August 2012
The first races for 2013 took place on the danish island Fanö. With some brand new prototypes in my quiver i started my annoying trip through denmark with a trailer.. Speed limit 70km/h… Never the less i reached Fanö just in time before the event started. On Friday i had the chance to use a new 9.5m kite which surprised me with good stability and lots of ground power, unfortunately i had two bad starts which leaded me to place 4 & 5. For Saturday the wind forecast was completely right and we had perfect conditions  for the still amazing Yakuza GT 8.3 (one of my favorite GTs..) and a new 6m prototype. Both kites worked very well and i managed to get two second places that day. Overall i’m 3rd right now looking forward to the next races this fall in St. Peter Ording, Germany.

kitebuggy news

26. April 2012

This years kitebuggy race season started during the easter holidays in st. peter ording. As the weather turned out to be just perfect with sunshine and wind for kites from 5.5 to 12 squaremeters we were able to drive five races.

For the first three races my weapon of choice was the Yakuza GT 5 and 6.8. One first and two second places showed that we have still one of the top racekites available.

The last two races I tried some new prototypes we are actually working on. Just for now all I can say is that already this first prototype in 12sqm was fast enough to help me up ending on a second place again. For the last race it looked like the wind will get up so I decided to test a new proto in 9.5sqm, unfortunately the wind doesn’t change and I had not enough power. That’s why I decided to test some different trim options during the race and were only able to become 12th. Never the less I could wipe out that last race and was able to win the first tourstop in 2012.
